The Tennis Team is a welcoming, youth team that practices three times a week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.  The A-Team plays in matches every Friday and the B-Team plays in matches on Thursdays. C-Team members work towards consistent match-play during practice.

How do I know if my child is ready to join the CSC Tennis Team?

• If your child has a positive attitude
• Responds well to coaching
• Is a team player
• Wants to learn the game of tennis
• 7 years old or older
• No tennis experience is required!

The CSC team is a great way to learn a sport that kids can play their entire lives. Please contact our tennis chairs or head coach if you would like more information.

What sports equipment do I need for tennis at CSC?

• Supportive, well fitting shoes designed for Tennis hard courts.
• A tennis racquet
  • 21 Inch racquet for ages 5-7
  • 23 inch racquets for ages 7-8
  • 25 inch racquet for 9-10 year olds
  • 26 inch racquets for 11 and up.
  • (Grip sizes will depend on your child’s hand size. Tennis & Golf Company in Royal Oak will fit your child for the perfect grip and racquet size.)
• If you registered by May 23, your player will receive a free team shirt. Players wear black skirts or tennis skirts with their team shirt for matches.
  • CSC logo shorts, skirts and hats are available on our online team shop but not required.
• If you registered after May 23 make sure you talk to Cecilia or Amy regarding your team shirt.
• If you want to purchase optional spirit wear to support our team you can buy from the gear shop.

Payment is required to CSC prior to participating in practices or matches.
